List of Services
Internet Streaming
For attorneys attending remotely and where Mr. Hubbard is in attendance at the deposition with the witness and counsel, he will be sending (streaming) to you in realtime the transcript to view on your iPad1, iPad2, SmartPhone, PC, or Mac.
Reverse Remote Realtime
This is where you and the witness are in the same location with Wi-Fi connectivity for your iPad2, (Mac, PC with fast-cable ethernet, if available) and we can even do this with your iPhone 4. Don't believe? Try it with us.
Call Mr. Hubbard and discover.
You must confirm in advance that this location supports Wi-Fi, and one sure way of doing that is booking your meeting or deposition with a virtual executive suite that has on staff IT personnel with both Wi-Fi and fast-cable access to the Internet.
To satisfy United States Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, the witness and Mr. Hubbard can see each other for purposes of swearing in the witness and throughout the proceedings.
Also as a safety mechanism to protect the intent of the witness and the oath given, Mr. Hubbard recommends that counsel having conduct of the deposition have the witness read and sign their deposition.
In addition to the affidavit by the witness that they have read their deposition and have furnished an errata that is sworn to, the witness also presents themselves to a notary swearing that their testimony is in fact their sworn testimony save for any additions, deletions, correction they suggested in their errata.
Realtime (Local) Transcript Feed
When we are all at the same location, Mr. Hubbard generally uses wireless feed to your personal PC, or we can use cables allowing the lawyer and paralegal to view the live transcript viewing with LiveNote or Bridge enabling you to review past and current live testimony simultaneously, to make notes and highlight the transcript.
Rough Drafts
At each break or at the end of the day, Mr. Hubbard can give you a rough draft of the transcript delivered to you on your flash drive or emailed to you.
List of Services
Delayed Realtime
Soon after your proceedings begin in about 15 to 20 minutes with guaranteed 99% accuracy the transcript is being sent (streamed via the Internet) to your smart phone, Mac or PC or if we are at the same location delivered via local dedicated wireless to your device or with direct cable.
Delayed Realtime promises to deliver a more reliable, full and complete transcription for your purposes of a working draft because what Mr. Hubbard is doing is replaying the digital audio that he is capturing and saving that is running concurrently with the live proceedings.
Then while he continues to capture the live proceedings on another device he is immediately playing back the audio at a slower speed allowing him to relax to maintain 99% consistency in his shorthand skills thereby producing a transcript that is virtually 100% accurate save for spellings of names of people and places and lexicon peculiar to your case.
The transcript continues to be provided throughout the day and when there is an adjournment expect the final pages to arrive within 20 minutes.
